We began by contacting suppliers of truck tarp around New Zealand which we could potentially get access to. We sent out a few emails to companies which we knew would have offcuts from their manufacturing process. We discovered one company, ‘tarpmakers’ which was located in Mount Maunganui who could send down a pallet of offcuts for us to prototype with for $70.
